Whether we are talking about the decline of our moral culture, healthcare, taxes, National Security, education, business bailouts, or anything else--stand up and take personal responsibilty for your own life and stop expecting others to bail you out and supply things to you at their expense.

If you want to TRULY live in freedom and liberty, then start acting like it! If you want a nanny state, move to Cuba, Venezuela, or most anywhere else in the world--just not here!

What a novel idea?? I fear it is one that is lost on many Americans now who have been raised to believe that big-brotha gov'nment will take care of them with that magical money they get from "taxin' them rich people". Get over yourself, please!!!

While America Burns...Obama Fiddles

Watch our Dear Leader (credit: http://www.mikechurch.com/) President Obama and his wife (and fellow thug) hop on multiple Air Force One aircrafts with their entourages and jet off to Copenhagen at massive taxpayer expense to lobby to bring home the bacon for his Chicago union thugs by securing the 2016 Olympics. You might want to ask other cities around the world that had the Olympics already what they think about it in hindsight. Most have had HUGE cost overruns that far outweighed any money that it brought in to begin with! Brilliant liberal economic policy at work! And of course the people that are protesting this in Chicago are racists...right??

Obama is competing against Rio, Madrid, and Tokyo for hosting the games. I feel bad for these cities as no one is going to be able to out maneuver the great Community Organizer and shell game player for this gig—put on your favorite mafia outfit ‘cuz Obama is going to make you an offer you can’t refuse.

Obama has made it sound as if this was a “last minute” trip…uh huh, and if you believe that you would also believe Obama never heard Jeremiah Wright spew left wing and racist sermons at his so-called church for 20 years. (BTW- has Obama and his family picked a church yet in D.C.?). We know that this is yet another orchestrated, behind the scene Unconstitutional use of the office and the federal government as it came out today that Chicago thugs like Mayor Richard Daly have had high level talks with D.C. thugs like Valerie Jarrett and H.U.D. to steal taxpayer money to build a $1,000,000,000 Olympic Village.

And of course all this very important work is going on with just a few minor things going on in the world. These things are so insignificant I feel I must list them here because you probably haven’t heard about them at all:

Iran test fired another missile they claim can reach Israel and pretty much anywhere else in the Middle East they wish while we also learned they have a second uranium enrichment plant hidden underground that we didn’t know about until now. All this coming right after BB Netanyahu gives a tremendous speech at the UN about the danger of Iran that our President should have been delivering instead of apologizing for America.

The fact that he hasn’t made a decision on Afghanistan policy while our brave men and women are in the line of fire everyday and doesn’t plan on doing so for 4 weeks! He is meeting with General McChrystal this week, but don’t bet on the General getting what he needs to win this battle. Obama’s politics and need to appease the left in this country for social programs like universal healthcare far out weigh any military needs and wants and he will try to triangulate this and drag it out as long as he can—or until they ram rod universal healthcare through first.

Healthcare “Reform”: Public opinion polls for this disaster have fallen to new lows of only 41% but Obama and the libs in Congress or pushing forward with their socialized medicine scheme and will force it through no matter what they have to do to get it. As previously mentioned, they have mocked and outright ignored the will of the public on this issue and don’t care what the polls say. This is all about their power and greed in Washington and they will pay their political price now if it means cementing future power for them as they ensnare everyone into paying for this illegal program and gain a whole new voting block of worthless citizens suckling off the productive members of our society.

The Dallas Federal Reserve chairman said yesterday that the Fed (which should be eliminated!) needs to be ready to aggressively raise interest rates if signs of inflation begin to show. Well Obama won’t be happy with this guy, but he is absolutely right. This is UNAVOIDABLE ! We will have massive skyrocketing inflation once the monetizing of our debt that is occurring now because of our unfettered borrowing from the Chinese and paper printing operation at the Treasury all but guarantees it. Inflation along with massive tax increases will be the ultimate demise of our economy yet Obama and liberals are talking up more massive spending on healthcare, “cap and trade”, funding the United Nations, massive housing and college loan program extensions, 2016 Olympics, $5,000,000,000,000 announced today to expand the National Institute of Health--a massive government bureaucracy, and it goes on and on. There is no limit to power and economic forces these idiots will not undertake and it will doom all of us if it isn’t stopped AND reversed now!

The economy continues to shrink, private sector jobs continue to disappear, and the public sector continues to grow all while Alan Greenspan (the former Fed chair and hero of the left) said today that the economy will continue to decline in 2010 while The White House says the recession is over!!....Just classic liberal economics and deranged Obama policy that will kill us all.

The CIA and FBI have uncovered a complex and scary terrorist plot here at home. The arrest of Zazi who was trying to set off a bomb on 9/11 and the guy in Texas who was setup with a dummy bomb by authorities in front of a Federal Building is probably just the tip of the iceberg! They have acknowledged that several other suspects are being sought or monitored. As I said before, it only takes one to slip through for many Americans to be killed.

And don't look now--the effort to sneak and ram government run healthcare down our throats begins in earnest next week as the Dems try to hide and mask it in other bills during the dark of night!! Don't worry, we will turn the light on and scatter these cockroaches!

And this is exactly how illegal immigrants WILL be covered under Obamacare. The left, are predictably, now openly pushing to expressively cover illegals in healthcare. But even if they don't succeed at this open attempt, as previously mentioned there will be NO explicit ban on illegals collecting healthcare benefits and so therefore they WILL get covered as there will be no enforcement of the rules. And if you don't want to pay for it, YOU will go to jail--yes you, the racist, xenophobic American with this crazy idea that you should not have to pay ANYTHING to someone who has flagrantly broke our sovereignty and laws by coming here illegally.

All incentives for employers to hire illegals need to be eliminated and a true enforcement and verification system in place. And in the meantime, ALL illeglas should be denied ANY publicly funded services and ultimately be shown the exit door of our country.

If one legal American citizen is denied a service, an opportunity, prosperity, or God forbid their life as a result of giving away freebies (healthcare or whatever) to illegals, then it is a travesty of monumental proportions and should never be tolerated by Americans-- that in overwhelming numbers are against illegals getting anything at taxpayer expense.

Apologizing For America, Part 1? Part 2? Part 99?

Mr. Obama said it himself to anyone who actually listened, during the campaign and after he won, that he wanted to “fundamentally transform America”. People like me and many others tried to warn everyone lost in the “Obama trance” exactly what he meant and it scares the hell out of us. Now many of those worst fears are coming true between his Unconstitutional and massive expansion of bureaucracy policies at home and his one world, collectivist vision of the rest of the world.

Before I write about the latest UN speech the President gave, did you know it was revealed today that since he took office that there have been 25,000 new Federal employees added to the government that you and I of course pay for?? It is despicable that in a time that the private sector is downsizing and unemployment is at double digits that the Federal government continues to expand. But this shouldn’t surprise anyone as liberals love expanding Federal government to "nanny-state" proportions. And by the way, it is almost impossible to get rid of these people once they are in. Not to mention that they all get iron clad benefits and, yes, gold plated health insurance that again we pay for. Heck, it sounds like a national version of the SEIU! Remember, the government never does with less and does not compete; they simply tear up the rules book and dictate new policy, after all it is not their money and futures they are selling out!

Yesterday, He again appeared before the corrupt and anti-American United Nations and denounces American exceptionalism while receiving glowing compliments from evil, tin horn despots such as Libyan President Muammar Gaddafi who rambled on for 90 minutes and called Obama his “son”, the illegitimate Iranian president and holocaust denier, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and the new western hemisphere Socialist/Marxist Hugo Chavez who said the “Smell of Sulfur has been replaced with the smell of hope”—the sulfur reference he made last time he spoke at the UN while George Bush was still in office—how proud we should all be of these endorsements!! All of this while Israel is staring down the very real possibility of a future nuclear attack by Iran or other rogue nation while Obama says to the UN "America does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements.”

He accused America as acting “unilaterally” and of course this has damaged our image around the world. It is the responsibility and duty of our government to do whatever is in the best interest of this country and be damned what other countries think of us—this is NOT a one-world country! This is the greatest land God ever gave and although we are not perfect, no President should ever apologize for the greatness of our history and deeds. They are all just jealous and stunned that a country that has been around for only 230 or so years has kicked all their collective asses in our advances and standard of living. Liberals always “hedge” their comments about America’s greatness by blaming us for much of the problems in the world.

He said that he ordered the prison at Guantanamo Bay closed when he took office. This is a joke and a national security nightmare. Unless he is willing to bring these terrorists to a neighborhood near you and jeopardize our security, this cannot happen. Just look at what is going on the last few days where several terror plots are being uncovered all over the country—very scary. It only takes one psycho extremist to slip through the law and cause mass casualties in our midst—I pray this does not happen again.

He once again uses the phony junk science of global warming to advocate and promote higher taxes, globalism, unproven “alternative” energy sources, and stripping America of its own energy development and freedom by restricting capacity and sources. Obama says that any country is entitled to develop nuclear energy, and I totally agree, yet his own policy and debt to the extreme environmental lobby precludes our own country for expanding such an energy source beyond what we already have.

He bragged about using American tax payer money—without our permission—to “bailout” the world economy to the tune of $2,000,000,000,000 (that’s trillion!) --so far—while enslaving future generations of Americans into debt to the Chinese and others for his generosity! He also is laying the groundwork for a one world economy and stripping the US dollar as the benchmark currency forcing Americans into some scheme that one day could allow direct taxation of us by the UN or some other one-world committee. We continue to spend countless dollars on every left wing social program worldwide while ignoring the pending bankruptcy we will surely face at home if this spending continues. Remember, liberals are only generous with other people’s money…

He pledged again to help disarm our country saying he can envision a world without nuclear weapons. In a perfect utopia world, this would be an honorable goal but in a world filled with evil dictators and despots, this is a fool hardy path that will only serve to reduce our security and defensive posture while at the same time such a policy will not stop regimes like Iran and North Korea from gaining their own arsenal which I have no doubt they would use offensively if they could. They are laughing at our increasing weakness in taking the necessary steps to shut down their programs. And although generally I do not believe in involving the United States in "pre-emptive" conflicts (look at Afghanistan right now), legitimizing and engaging in useless diplomacy with these rogue regimes will yield nothing except allowing them the time to stall us and complete their work.

I also agree that we should not be “forcing” democracy onto other nations, however I do not believe that has ever been our intention or goal. But the rulers of countries that “choose” to live in totalitarianism cannot then demand concessions and treasure of the United States be handed over to them while at the same time conspiring to do damage and harm to us.

As I wrote last week, we should exit the UN and throw them out of this country—period! They spend billions of our dollars every year and for what?? See my UN posting for from last week.

Obama Continues His Hugo Chavez 101 Training Course

Barack Obama is beginning to signal that he would "happy to look at" a bailout of our failing newspapers--so long as they "reorganize" as non profits!! http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/59523-obama-open-to-newspaper-bailout-bill This is absolutely stunning, but then again when it comes to this fascist and socialist that occupies the White House it shouldn't surprise anyone anymore...he is taking his cues directly from the other tin horn leaders in the world, most recently the esteemed Hugo Chavez of Venezuela.

First of all "non profit" means government owned--either directly or implied. If you are a non-profit, you live and die by what government dictates in order to gain or keep this status. For a media outlet, this is a flagrant and direct violation of the First Amendment and anyone in Congress or the White House that supports this (if it ever sees the light of day in Congress) should be immediately impeached and/or recalled by their states for such an act.

I wonder if Conservative papers(albeit there are very few) would also be eligible for such a bailout?? I would think not. And let's face it, the reason these papers are failing is BECAUSE NO ONE IS READING THEM!! They are miserable failures because the public can see right through the clear liberal bias in these papers and their writers. The OP/Ed pages are now being passed off as the "real" news and it isn't working. When people don't buy papers, advertising sales plummet and the papers go broke. Guess what? That's capitalism! That's the free market! Get over it!

And what does our goverment do with failing businesses that they think will benefit them? Pump taxpayer money into a failing effort-what else! What the hell, it isn't their money--why would they care??

Now that I think about it though, Obama and his liberal ilk hate the free market and competition, so it only makes sense that they would try to kill the successful ones and bailout the failing ones and remake them in their image. Liberalism is a failure and people that promote it are failures, so that makes total sense to me. To a liberal, if you can't beat success, then just try to kill it.

Obama: Appease our Foes, Hang our friends out to Dry.

Now that Barack Obama is well on his way to destroying the fabric of our country including our economy, our healthcare, our traditions and values, and implementing misguided military policy that puts our troops at risk, he announced today that he is walking away from the building of a missile defense shield for Eastern European allies like the Czech Republic and Poland—two countries that know first hand the iron fist of Communism as they lived under Russian tyranny around the time of World War II—and putting them back at risk from Iranian and possibly Russian attack in the future.

If that were not bad enough, he added real salt to the wound by announcing his decision on the anniversary date of the Russian invasion into Poland!! What an absolute disgrace this guy is!

And why did he do that? Because he is one-world collectivist that has no understanding of the nature of the threats that will face us if we don’t face down these threats now and protect the people in Eastern Europe that have fought along side US troops for liberty for decades! It was also done to appease the Russians who have been demagoguing this shield from the beginning even though they know it was never directed at them and in fact they were asked to participate in it from the beginning, and they refused.

He also did it because he wants the Russians to help get Iran to sit down and break bread and give legitimacy to another madman, Iraninan President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and negotiate his nuclear program with him because he truly thinks if he does that, the Iranians will suddenly stop their production. Just tonight, information has leaked out from the IAEA that Iran has the material and ability to make a nuke RIGHT NOW! Such negotiations will yield nothing except giving the Iranians more time to develop a missile to carry the warhead on so they can threaten Israel and other parts of Europe.

The former KGB agents running Russian-Medevnev and Putin—must be laughing and rubbing their hands together in joy at their luck dealing with such a weak, incompetent, and appeasing President. He is Jimmy Carter and Neville Chamberlain rolled into one and may end up getting countless people killed all to “improve our standing in the world.”

Part of the rationale the defense Department gave for modifying and overhauling the plan to something different, is that the Iranian long range missile threat is not nearly that great as originally thought and that short and mid range ones were more of a threat. They say this system will protect better from those threats. But those that disagree make a good point. The Iranian long range threat may not be there now (although no one really knows that for sure!) but by the time the proposed Obama system is installed, several years will pass and by then they could have that long range technology perfected. And then what??

Maybe Obama could get his friends at ACORN to shakedown the Iranians and Russians or better yet, “community organize” Eastern Europe so they can give the illusion that they are strong against the threats that could annihilate them! That's gotta be a better use of the billions of dollars they have received instead of using it for voter fraud, loan fraud, and importing underage girls for prostititution rings in the US...just a suggestion.

I Never Knew I was Racist!

That's because I am not, and neither are millions of my fellow liberty loving Americans!

Big government supporters are now truly losing it! Why? Many have gone 100% in the tank with the race card. The evidence is everywhere! If you oppose any of Obama’s huge government programs, such as nationalization of healthcare, then they will call you a racist.

They cannot argue on the facts or merits of the arguments. They are absolutely stunned that the public is not buying or go along with these Socialist plans like the drones they thought we would be. Even many former Obama supporters and voters are beginning to back away from him and polls are showing people just don’t trust what he is saying.

Of course Obama himself does not have to say a word about this—yet. He will allow his sycophants and the mainstream media to do his dirty work for him as long as possible. I believe eventually he will have to come out and at least try to convince us that he opposes such language. But he may not be believable on that either because again his past writings, associations, and actions speak otherwise.

If you go to a tea party or a townhall meeting you are racist and part of a "mob". If you oppose the takeover of auto companies you are racist. If you oppose the stimulus bill you are a racist. And coming up, I am sure if you oppose the Cap and Trade (or Tax) bill that the White House's own inside report shows that the average American household's federal taxes will rise by $1761/year under this bill, then you are a racist--more on that coming in future posts. And of course, if you oppose ACORN, you are a racist. I will also talk more about ACORN in the coming days as well.

This is their mantra and all they have now. They are desperate to deflect the criticisms back to everyone else and once again try to make themselves look like the victim.

I think I can speak for ALL people who oppose what is happening in this country now. We oppose the programs and the direction we are going in. We oppose and protest the policies and philosophies, not the person! It does not matter what race the person is that proposing these things! The aforementioned Jimmy Carter is a prime example. As I said, I believe he is the worst President in modern history(although Obama is starting to catch up) and the last time I checked, he is white.

We elected a black President and without white support, that would never have happened so give me a break on the “white racists that just can’t accept a black President”. These are vial and insulting implications and statements! There are unfortunately racists in all nationalities in the country, but they are a tiny fraction that should be marginalized no matter what color they are.

I think there are 2 possible reasons for these reactions. First, they are just stunned that the public is not being swayed by the “lure” of liberalism and not intimidated by Chicago style politics. Second, they are using it as a baseline and excuse for future crackdown on the population with the rationale being that the President’s safety is in jeopardy or for “national security” issues. The second may sound like conspiracy, but simply look at the policies and comments of Attorney General Eric Holder on guns and race, Homeland Security Chief Janet Napolitano’s “right wing extremist” study she approved earlier this year, and the internet security act that is being proposed in the Senate that could give Obama the power to shutdown PRIVATE computer networks. Barack Obama ran as a post-racial candidate. If he truly means it, he will BOLDLY make statements and actions on the things going on now. But I won’t hold my breath…

Obama and the UN: The New World Order Approaches!

This is incredibly scary as the UN is one of the most corrupt, anti-American, anti-capitalist organizations on the planet. And you and I of course pay for it! Oh you didn’t know that the United States, besides hosting the UN in New York, pays 20% of the UN budget of over $4 Billion??

The UN has come up with every scheme possible to take money out of the US taxpayers pocket including global hunger and global warming hysteria. So with BO’s taking of the Chair position, what do you think the chances are that he goes for a new “world tax” or other massive intercontinental collective scheme and add billions to the debt and obligations of Americans without are consent? How about 100%?

This story is of course outrageous and being ignored by most the media and not only should Obama not be taking this position, but the US should immediately revoke its charter and throw them out of this country!

Oil for Food disaster after first Iraq war where former UN head Kofi Annan and his son laundered millions of dollars to themselves and friends and massively corrupted the program.
Mass abortion and population control “programs”.
A massive Global Tax proposal.

Etc, etc, etc. !
This is another scary situation to move us closer to a one-world massive socialist and collective government where people like Barack Obama, Jimmy Carter, and Bill and Hillary Clinton will be the kings and the “Dons” and you will be their subjects—whether you like it or not.

Thoughts on Ted Kennedy and the Massive Tea Party!

Well it has been a few weeks since the death of Ted Kennedy. And as expected the main stream media has used his death in twisted, typical fashion to promote and push Obama Care as a “tribute” to him. In the tradition of the Paul Wellstone memorial, Democrats and pro-socialized medicine people are using his death as another reason to pass these bills saying we need to “do it for Teddy.” They even used a child at his funeral to press this agenda because of course you can’t criticize a child!

We also have had a popular liberal blogger recently say that maybe the death of Mary Jo Kopechne was “worth it” as a substitute for Kennedy dying in that car accident so that he could continue his “life’s worth” in healthcare “reform”.

By the way, my complaint is that the Kennedys (and all liberals past and present) have practiced their social experimentation and collective utopia dreams on the rest of us using the power of government and the tax code against our will in many cases. The policies of Kennedy have more than likely cost every working American thousands of dollars in extra taxes and bureaucracy over the years, held back the very people he claimed to want to help into generations of government dependency that really doesn’t help the person but secures power and control in Washington, cost millions of children to never be born through his 100% support of the abortion industry (which is ironic considering he was a “devote” Catholic), and his unwavering support for illegal immigration amnesty. Remember, liberals are only generous with other people’s money.

peaceful great American protestors showed up for the latest (and rapidly growing!) to protest and express their fear and disdain for the government’s rapid slide into socialism and bankruptcy that Obama and many Washington politicians (some on both sides of the aisle) are taking us all into. Main stream media of course GREATLY downplayed the numbers of people present saying it was only in the “tens of thousands” when video evidence and real ground reports clearly proves otherwise!

And the left howled about a few signs at the protest saying “Bury Obama Care with Kennedy.” I completely agree with this sentiment. But don’t you just love the double standard of these people?
Here are just a few:
Ted Kennedy is directly responsible for the death of Kopechne and gets away with it.
Nancy Pelosi insults the CIA and calls Americans opposing Obama Care “Nazis”,
Jack Murtha (D-PA) called the Marines involved in the Haditha incident in Iraq cold blooded murderers before he knew the facts (all have been cleared since then)
Harry Reid called Bush a “loser” and “liar” many times and the “Worst President” in history.
Leftwing extremists made movies on how to assassinate George W. Bush.
And I could go on and on and on…

Liberals and the elite press will NEVER understand the ground swell that is building right under their feet. This swell will eventually blow up and they will be thrown into the ash bin of history as Conservatism ascends because the public is getting a first hand history lesson of what socialism really is! And they don't like it...

Obama Healthcare Spin Speech: To long, to short on details, full of fuzzy math, and still Unconstitutional

So Obama gave his latest campaign speech on Wednesday evening regarding healthcare and spun more BS on the nationalization and take over of healthcare.

The most glaring points that need to be noted here is that he still gave NO specifics or details on the plan. Even the Congress people in the chamber laughed when he said that the “specifics” need to still be worked out. Secondly, EVERY single government “fix” he talked about could be done with reform and expansion of the CURRENT free market private system without blowing up the private system that 80% of Americans with this coverage don’t want changed!

And as far as Congressman Joe Wilson goes, that man should receive a gold medal of courage for his “outburst” during the speech when he yelled out “LIE” during the speech when Obama insisted that illegals would not be covered in the legislation. This is a lie and Obama is a liar and the Congressman needs to apologize to no one as far as I am concerned. He did try to call Obama on Thursday to do so, but he only got to talk to “Rambo” Emanuel and not the President but apparently king Obama was going to graciously accept his apology…wasn’t that nice of him?? (maybe we should have another Beer Summit??) We need more people like Wilson in the Congress to call out socialism and liberals lies more often! Where was the left’s outrage when lib Congressmen loudly booed GW Bush in 2005 during his State of the Union speech (not a campaign propaganda speech like Obama gives every day it seems like) when Bush tried to warn everyone of the impending failure of Social Security without major reform such as partial privatization. Or when Harry Reid called Bush a “loser”, a “liar”, and “the worst President” we have ever have.
Double standard anyone?

The meat of this posting will deal with the speech and counter or rebut the spin he tried to sell all of us. There is enough material in the speech and talking points memo he handed out to members of Congress just before he started talking—yes, talking points, not the whole speech as is traditional—to fill pages on this blog but I will try to keep limit to the most salient points especially since many of the points have been addressed in prior posts. Grab a cup of coffee or a beer before you read this—it may take some time to cover all his spin and, yes, lies.

Pre Healthcare Myths:
The Economy is Improving thanks to the Stimulus plan: FALSE. Unemployment is near 10% and actual unemployment (including those no longer looking or no longer eligible for benefits) is about 16%! Obama has asked to have the debt ceiling raised to $12 TRILLION dollars and his own budget deficit for this year stands at near $1.4 TRILLION alone! Only hyper inflation and sky rocketing taxes can follow this nightmare. Can you spend your way out of debt in your household?

Obama mentioned that the Congress has been trying to pass healthcare “reform” since 1943 when now Congressman’s John Dingell’s (D-MI) father was in the Congress. What more reason do you need for term limits!! And if it was so wonderful and needed, why wouldn’t it be done in 66 years??


Now for some of the health care myths:

30 Million Americans (or is 45? Or 47?) don’t have health insurance:
False. This number is always inflated to include illegal aliens, people who just choose to not buy insurance (that’s called freedom and liberty), and people who are transient uninsured for just a few months at a time. The remaining is around 12 million actual chronic uninsured. So why are we talking about blowing up the entire system for the other couple of hundred millions of people who have and like their insurance?? Obama also said that 14,000 more lose their coverage everyday. That may be true, but if he was serious about changing that, he would be serious about improving the economy and this statistic will drastically improve!

"Rising Costs cause us to spend 1.5 times more per person on healthcare than other countries and he noted that premiums have gone up 3x faster than wages:"

Government mandates both at the state and federal level, regulations, and laws barring insurers from selling policies across state lines, And of course trial lawyers are a huge problem and cost factor as well.

He also said that “our health care system is placing an unsustainable burden on taxpayers.” That may be true in its current form but how will eventual nationalization of the system and providing coverage for 45 million more people lower the tax burden? It won’t—costs and taxes will explode and rationing will occur. That is just simple supply and demand economics my children would understand!

The President said that Congress has been working on creating a plan that takes the best of both parties’ ideas:

That would be a start, but unfortunately, Democrats have defeated or ignored all Conservative plans and amendments to their respective bills and Republicans have been pretty much shut out of the process since the spring. (Libs are telling them it’s our way or get out!)

“Our overall efforts have been supported by an unprecedented coalition of doctors and nurses; hospitals, seniors' groups and even drug companies – many of whom opposed reform in the past.”

Drug companies have made their deal with Obama as a hedge because they know if they oppose it, they will be the next industry targeted for destruction by Obama. Believe me, I know this is the case as I work in the pharmaceutical industry currently.
Senior groups=AARP, a liberal group that has been out for its own interest for many years but especially since the Medicare Part D benefit was added and AARP became one the insurers who has profited handsomely by this huge entitlement for the last several years.
The “coalition” of doctors and nurses include the bureaucracy of groups like the AMA—hardly a true representation of the rank and file physicians who would have to live under this unbearable system.

“What this plan will do is to make the insurance you have work better for you. Under this plan, it will be against the law for insurance companies to deny you coverage because of a pre-existing condition. As soon as I sign this bill, it will be against the law for insurance companies to drop your coverage when you get sick or water it down when you need it most. They will no longer be able to place some arbitrary cap on the amount of coverage you can receive in a given year or a lifetime. We will place a limit on how much you can be charged for out-of-pocket expenses, because in the United States of America, no one should go broke because they get sick. And insurance companies will be required to cover, with no extra charge, routine checkups and preventive care…”

Sounds like a utopia, but again this mandate will cause premiums to explode even more. And severe rationing will take place as well. You just cannot cover that many more people for that many more services with the same number of doctors we currently have or could hope to add to the system.

“We will do this by creating a new insurance exchange – a marketplace where individuals and small businesses will be able to shop for health insurance at competitive prices. Insurance companies will have an incentive to participate in this exchange because it lets them compete for millions of new customers. As one big group, these customers will have greater leverage to bargain with the insurance companies for better prices and quality coverage. This is how large companies and government employees get affordable insurance. It's how everyone in this Congress gets affordable insurance. And it's time to give every American the same opportunity that we've given ourselves.”

As I have said before, there is no need to create a new huge bureaucracy that will do just the opposite by killing competition and the private market. Modernization of existing laws that truly allow competition is all that is needed. And Congress will not participate in this scheme nor do they have this type of plan now. They have a taxpayer funded plan that is managed by PRIVATE insurers they so want to demonize. And the Dems have already rejected an amendment that would require Congress people to have the same coverage as they want to force on us. Hypocrites!

“And all insurance companies that want access to this new marketplace will have to abide by the consumer protections I already mentioned.”

King Obama has spoken on what businesses must do under his distinct leadership! And this will be the mechanism by which they will eventually take it over entirely. Whether by a trigger or outright confiscation when “mandates” cannot be met or the insurers are forced out of business because they can’t compete with the government.

“In the meantime, for those Americans who can't get insurance today because they have pre-existing medical conditions, we will immediately offer low-cost coverage that will protect you against financial ruin if you become seriously ill.”

How is he going to do that? And if that was possible or even desirable to do, why wouldn’t if have been done many years ago? We are just supposed to believe everything the Messiah decrees I guess…


“If there are affordable options and people still don't sign up for health insurance, it means we pay for those people's expensive emergency room visits. If some businesses don't provide workers health care, it forces the rest of us to pick up the tab when their workers get sick, and gives those businesses an unfair advantage over their competitors. And unless everybody does their part, many of the insurance reforms we seek – especially requiring insurance companies to cover pre-existing conditions – just can't be achieved. That's why under my plan, individuals will be required to carry basic health insurance – just as most states require you to carry auto insurance. Likewise, businesses will be required to either offer their workers health care, or chip in to help cover the cost of their workers.” Or “. But we cannot have large businesses and individuals who can afford coverage game the system by avoiding responsibility to themselves or their employees. Improving our health care system only works if everybody does their part.”

Who the hell does this guy think he is?? He really does believe that he is a dictator. Collectivism and Big Brother at its best. As I said before, the freedom to choose health care or not is what liberty and personal responsibility is all about. Plus it is UNCONSTITUTIONAL to dictate and force participation of citizens into anything! I believe this may very well cause a Constitutional showdown with citizens if this ever does become law and states may well try to reject this intrusion into their sovereignty by invoking their 10th Amendment rights. That has already begun in many states!


“The best example is the claim, made not just by radio and cable talk show hosts, but prominent politicians that we plan to set up panels of bureaucrats with the power to kill off senior citizens.”

The fact is that there is language in the legislation that encourages and pays doctors to provide “end of life counseling.” There should be absolutely NO government interaction of any kind in the doctor/patient relationship and with the rationing and cuts that are bound to come, you had better believe there will be “encouragement” if not outright denying of services to some seniors—this already takes place in England where age vs. sickness values are placed on people’s lives.

“There are also those who claim that our reform effort will insure illegal immigrants. This, too, is false – the reforms I'm proposing would not apply to those who are here illegally. And one more misunderstanding I want to clear up –under our plan, no federal dollars will be used to fund abortions, and federal conscience laws will remain in place.”

In the end, illegals WILL get covered because there is no language in the bill that would specifically require proof of citizenship and amendments have already been rejected that would SPECIFICALLY bar illegals from getting this public option. As far as abortions, although the House bill doesn’t specifically cover abortion, there is nothing that bans it being paid for in the “public option”. And the only reason why they are not covered explicitly by the government now is because of the Hyde Amendment (names after former Congressman Henry Hyde) which prohibits federal funding. But this amendment must be renewed every year and Obama is a Planned Parenthood sycophant and receives lots of campaign money from the abortion lobby. So what is the chance this amendment would not be renewed under the Democrat Congress and White House that are clearly pro-abortion. Pretty good I would say…
Ditto for federal “conscience” laws which allow doctors and nurses to not be forced into providing abortions due to religious or moral objections which Planned Parenthood clearly opposes and wants repealed.

“Now, I have no interest in putting insurance companies out of business.” And “No one would be forced to choose it, and it
would not impact those of you who already have insurance.”

“First, I will not sign a plan that adds one dime to our deficits – either now or in the future. Period. If there is so much waste and fraud in the system now, why not address that immediately and realize those savings now especially if they are in Medicare? What are these magical spending cuts you are referring to? The military I would suspect would be on the chopping block again! Again seniors, watch out! There is NO WAY that you can cut hundreds of billions of dollars out of Medicare and not have that lead to lower care and rationed service. Medicare is beyond broke now—there is no Medicare trust fund! They have spent it all! How about slowly phasing out Medicare for younger generations—or at least the option to—and let us have our money back to save and invest in our own health care and savings as we see fit?? Nah, because then the ponzi scheme doesn’t work if you do that. Congress would lose its power and control over your life, and they will never allow that to happen.

“Finally, many in this chamber – particularly on the Republican side of the aisle – have long insisted that reforming our medical malpractice laws can help bring down the cost of health care.”

Don’t bet on this one folks! Obama has said previously to the AMA that he does not want to see tort reform in this bill and Howard Dean even said in a candid moment that they will not put it in because they don’t want to make “enemies” out of the trial lawyers (that fund their campaigns). Remember, most of the Congress, and including Obama, are lawyers. They will NEVER include meaningful tort reform in any plan. The lawyers (like ambulance chaser and failed Presidential candidate John Edwards) will not allow it. There is just to much money at stake for them…

“Add it all up, and the plan I'm proposing will cost around $900 billion over ten years – less than we have spent on the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, and less than the tax cuts for the wealthiest few Americans that Congress passed at the beginning of the previous administration.”

Since when has a government program cost “only” what they project?? In fact the numbers are usually 2-4x as much as predicted. We don’t have $1 to spend, forget about $900 billion more. And I love the class warfare and hatred of the military that keeps us safe from this guy. Many libs loathe the military and will always attack and gut it first to fund their social engineering.

And ALL Americans that pay taxes should get tax cuts INCLUDING the wealthy. In fact they should get more because they pay more. Have you ever gotten a job from a poor person?? We have nearly 50% of population that doesn’t pay ANY federal taxes now and the top 1% pay nearly 95% of the federal tax burden! How is that fair? (by the way, I am middle class myself and I want more of the tax cuts to go to the higher tax brackets).

So as you can see, this speech is full of endless spin, lies, and propaganda. I could have gone on for twice as many pages in rebutting these points but I picked the obvious and important ones out. Again, do your own research and form your own opinions. Even talking about such a scheme is frightening. Passing and implementing it will be unsustainable and I argue illegal via the Constitution.

The battle will continue either way and the lines will continue to be drawn even clearer with each day. We will see what the “final” versions of these bills look like but don’t expect any major deletions to occur. Some may be watered down to ease passage of the bill or cloaked in different language but they will be resurrected at some point by amendment or lawsuit, you can count on that!

9/11/01 - 8 years. We Will NEVER Forget!

Let us all take the time today to stop and remember the 3000 souls that were murdered by those animals and understand why we can never let our guard down- as I fear we are starting to do today. Terrorists cannot nor should be bargained with under ANY circumstances-they need to be defeated soundly.

Today should be now and always a day of reflection and remembrance and not a "National Day of Service" like many on the left-including Obama- want it to be so they can continue to desensitize everyone and insulate us from that horrible day, in part, because they believe we provoked those attacks and in some sick way deserved it.Just look around today and ask yourself why we don't see those horrific images anymore, especially on main stream news outlets, unless they are scrubbed and edited.

Van Jones is out! The Obama administration very quietly in the dead of the night on a long holiday weekend, cut radical Van Jones loose and threw yet another one of his "confidants" under the bus when it is politically expedient to do so (see Reverend Wright).

The left of course is howling about it, but this was not right wing talk radio or TV that did this, it was YOU and I that did because of course the mainstream media ignored the whole thing as long as possible and then only mentioned it in passing and said he was railroaded. The new media was simply the conduit to bring these radical associations to light and exposing the true associations of BarackObama.

Believe me, the proof and evidence was everywhere and Obama endorses this guy's philosophy whole heartedly--and I am sure he still does! They are just mad that we found and and exposed him. Buh-bye Van Jones!!

Obama Makes The Case for Private Schools

I am not sure if I will be able to send my children to private school, but Barack Obama and big government education certainly make me aspire to do so!

The current motivation is BO's "inspirational" speech he is planning to deliver to the huddle, unwashed masses of school children on Tuesday morning because you parents out there are to stupid to raise your own children the way you feel is best so you need big daddy Barack to do it for you. Although I don't agree in principle wit any President doing this, if it were truly motivational, inspirational and non-policy related I would have no problem with such a message about staying in school/listening to your teachers/no drugs/no gangs, etc. But I just can't help shake the feeling that this is just another Big Brother propaganda moment for Obama.

Originally, there was an eerie pre and post speech "lesson plan" that the Dept. of Education had sent to all the schools that was of course "voluntary". This plan included having children right down "what the President was asking of me" and "how I can help the President" (or should we say El Presidente?). There were other disturbing points as well but after a lot of controversy about the what would be in the speech and whether parents would have access to it and maybe even opt their children out, the lesson plan was modified and the speech posted today.

After reading it several times, I am totally uninspired by the messages. There are half hearted messages about staying dedicated in school and some bad attempts at humour. Probably the most offensive line to me as a Conservative is: "You’ll need the insights and critical thinking skills you gain in history and social studies to fight poverty and homelessness, crime and discrimination, and make our nation more fair and more free." I didn't realize that history teaching meant fighting poverty and homelessness. I thought it meant teaching, umm, HISTORY!

But we don't teach true history anymore in public schools. In fact we don't even call it "history" anymore but "social studies". Notice the operative word here: "social" as in collectivism and socialism? So called history text books are grossly inadequate and often are void of true, objective, in depth, factual events, why they happened and what they mean today. Instead, they are a platform for social engineering and dismantling of traditional, critical understanding of the events that have shaped our world. Actual meaningful events that are included get little more than "blurbs"(such as teaching more about our Founding Fathers and their brilliant writings) and replaced with "progressive" views and criticisms of these events that keep new generations of kids ignorant on world events except for them being taught that governments are benevolent and know best.

Why do you think Obama and liberals want to "honor" the 8th anniversary of 9/11 by making it a "dedication to public service" day instead of reminding all of us what it really was--a vicious attack by animal Islamic terrorist extremists. Outrageous--but more on this later in the week! This is just another clear attempt to "desensitize" us and make us try to forget that there are evil people in this world with evil intentions that need to be defeated. They want us to think that we are to blame for their hatred and that we need to understand them instead of looking back on their radical history and understanding the true roots of their hatred.

Liberals WANT your kids in their government indoctrination centers, otherwise known as public schools while they send THEIR kids to private schools. Look at people like Caroline Kennedy Barack Obama. Both run around advocating against school vouchers and work feverishly to just throw more money at a losing system (see NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND!). In fact Obama's kids go to a private in school in the Washington DC area. This same school had a voucher program in place that was working great in taking hundreds of poor kids out of miserable DC schools and giving them a real chance at a private school. Obama CANCELLED the program (after this school year) and will force these kids back in to the failing schools.

Much like other liberal big government programs (such as health care), they HAVE to force EVERYONE in to their schemes in order to throw enough money at it--and it will fail anyways. Remember, it is ALL IN as far as they are concerned--collectivism at its best! And of course by forcing you into these plans, they need to raise your taxes even more which will keep you separated from more of your money and therefore not allow you to opt out of these government schemes. It is all part of the plan my friends...hold onto your kids tight and be prepared to de-program much of the garbage they will hear in school today and everyday.

Bottom Line: WE ARE THE PARENTS AND WE HAVE THE RESPONSIBILTY TO TEACH AND ADVISE OUR CHILDREN ON WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO US AND WE WANT OBAMA AND ALL GOVERNMENT OUT OF OUR HOMES AND VALUES--PERIOD!

IF IT LOOKS LIKE A DUCK…

Here is the latest way that Dems and RINO Republicans are trying to hide their true intentions with healthcare “reform” and thoughts on a few Obama czars ,etc...


Puke “moderates” like Olympia Snowe (R-ME) are once again getting together the Gang of Six- a supposed bipartisan group of senators- who are desperately trying to get a compromise bill out of the senate. What they are pushing is “trigger” wording in the bill that will allow the government to take over and institute a “public” plan if insurance companies do not meet certain “standards” place on them by Congress.

Questions:
How long will it take before one of these so-called “standards” are said to be violated? Watch out, don’t blink or you might miss it!
Who is going to determine these standards and how will they be enforced and who will decide if they are being violated? (I’ll take lawyers and bureaucrats for $1000, Alex)

This is essentially the same language that the current House bill has as well that I have talked about before. In that bill, if private plans are to be “allowed” to still operate, they must meet requirements and qualifications set forth in that bill. Of course a similar problem exists with them doing that: the qualifications and mandates will be so high that they will never be able to compete with the government plan and will henceforth be forced out of business and as I mentioned in previous blogs, simply bled dry by the public plan.

No one is buying this or being fooled by it. Their level or arrogance and disdain for public opinion on this matter are stunning! Stay tuned for the spin!!

And if so many rich liberals, both in the Congress and out, want universal healthcare you think that they could pool their billions together and launch a new health insurance plan that only covers the narrow part of our population that truly cannot get or afford health insurance. I think Oprah Winfrey, George Soros, and Nancy Pelosi alone could fund it for 10 years! But as I have said, this issue has never been about health insurance reform, but rather power, control, and taxes. If they can force you to live under such a policy, they can dictate virtually your entire life and be damned the 90% of Americans that are happy with their current coverage.

And while we are on the subject of quacking, how about Obama’s “green jobs” Czar Van Jones, who Co-founded a socialist collective, Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement, or STORM, in 1994, which held study groups on the theories of Marx and Lenin and dreamed of a multiracial socialist utopia (hmm, who else do we know that was a community organizer??) A man who once said that white people are purposely poisoning the environment to kill off minorities. A man who signed a “9/11 Truth” petition—you know, one of these insane groups that claims 9/11 was an inside job—and then said in a statement recently that he hadn’t really read the petition even though the title said “9/11 TRUTH”. (kind of like Congress not reading legislation before voting for it). This guy also called Republicans “a-holes” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uuiM2xsV8Xs when asked by a woman at a meeting in Berkley, CA (no liberals there, huh!) why Democrats couldn’t ram things through without Republicans since they have the whole Congress now yet Republicans could when they were in charge. We are of course told by him and the White House that we can’t hold him accountable for things he has said in the past even though these were all very recent actions and while at the same time Democrats in Virginia are trying to demonize the Republican gubernatorial candidate on something he wrote in a thesis more than 20 years ago—typical left double standard.

Just add that to the long list of incompetent people Obama surrounds himself with:

Tim Geithner, the tax cheat Secretary of Treasury.

Carol Browner (Energy and Environment Czar) who once worked on the Socialist International's Commission for a Sustainable World Society, asking the global community must work collectively to address environmental policies.

Cass Sunstein (Regulatory Czar) who once said that animals should have the right to sure humans in court and also once suggested that all hunting be banned.

John Holdren (Science Czar) who advocated in a 1977 book that compulsory abortions could be enforced under the Constitution as a way of protecting the environment!

Charlie Rangel (New York Congressman) who is the Chairman of the powerful House Ways in Means Committee in Congress, which writes tax law, is himself now a known tax cheat for underreporting hundreds of thousands of dollars in assets and evading the taxes due. Rangel also played the race card this week saying that people that are opposing Obama care are ones who just can’t get over the fact that a “black man was elected President”. I am sure Nancy Pelosi’s House “ethics investigation” into this will be very hard hitting and bad for Charlie!
