Thomas Jefferson

"We must make our choice between economy and liberty or confusion and servitude...If we run into such debts, we must be taxed in our meat and drink, in our necessities and comforts, in our labor and in our amusements...if we can prevent the government from wasting the labor of the people, under the pretense of caring for them, they will be happy."--Thomas Jefferson

"America does not go abroad in search of monsters to destroy. She is the well-wisher to freedom and independence of all. She is the champion and vindicator only of her own. "
--John Quincy Adams
US diplomat & politician (1767 - 1848)

“Since the general civilization of mankind, I believe there are more instances of the abridgment of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpation”
-James Madison at the Virginia Ratification Debates
"With respect to the words "general welfare," I have always regarded them as qualified by the detail of powers connected with them. To take them in a literal and unlimited sense would be a metamorphosis of the Constitution into a character which there is a host of proofs was not contemplated by its creators."

- James Madison's Letter to James Robertson, April 20, 1831

The Beer Summit?

To: Sgt. Crowley, Cambridge P.D.

From: Barack Obama, President and Race-Baiter in Chief

Re: Beer Summit

Dear Sgt. Crowley,

I am requesting the honor of your presence at the White House for a beer and a photo opportunity with Professor Crowley, myself, and the my new teleprompter so I can try and dig myself out of yet another public opinion hole I have dug for myself. You see Sgt, I injected myself and commented on something I had no place in doing--especially in light of the fact that I was not there and certainly didn't have all the facts. I just can't help myself and my Chicago style thuggery and "community organizing" skills just come out naturally.

I know Sgt. that you are an experienced and respected officer and in fact you are actually teaching a sensitivity course for the Cambridge PD, but that doesn't matter because I am all to experienced in creating wedges and race issues where there are none. I have learned from the best: Professor Crowley, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and of course, Reverend Wright. I think I am actually the one who acted "stupidly" but don't ever think I will apologize--after all I am Barack Obama and I am above all! Instead, let me provide a "teachable moment" with you to remind you that you are racist and unsophisticated--unlike me of course.

Since you are one of those average, hard working people (yuck!) I am assuming you are a Busch or Bud guy right? I guess I can lower my standards for an hour for the sake of my photo opp. and public poll ratings (which are falling faster than the value of the dollar)!

I look forward to your RSVP, after all, if you refuse I will send Robert Gibbs, MSNBC, and the rest of press corp out to further investigate and destroy you and your family.

Sincerely (not really),
Barack Obama

  1. Who am I?
I am part of the growing and not-so-silent Conservative movement in this country that is watching the instititutions and hallmarks that have made this the greatest country in the world in record time be stolen right out from under us and replaced with left wing collectivism that myself and my children will be indentured into forever--which is the ultimate elimination of our personal liberty, abdication of personal responsibility, and the destruction of our Constitutional republic.

Who are you??? What do YOU believe?
