The incredibly angry and condescending Michelle Obama announced another government takeover of your parenting skills and theft of your freedom and money Monday by announcing that her equally disgraceful Marxist husband was signing the "Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act".
Understand this point, that RINO Republicans like Mitch "Mr Magoo" McConnell empowered and encouraged this trumping of parental rights and expansion of government and bureaucracy. I will say fo rthe record that people like McConnell need to go and be replaced by Conservatives so I hope the next time he is up for reelection, that Kentucky finds another Rand Paul!
This bill spends another $4.5 BILLION over 10 years, that of course, we don't have and will have to print or borrow, But equally sinister is yep another toe or foot that the left gets into the door to pry it open and set the stage for yet more encroachment on your freedom to raise your kids the way you see fit and decide what they are allowed to eat. Do not be fooled by the once again "good intentions" of people like Obama. Their ONLY goal is to put in the infrastructure of control and regulation to determine what you can and cannot do in your own life. This is the basis of all Socialist and Marxist policy--such as Obamacare, endless extensions of unemployment, financial reform, etc, etc, etc. It is NEVER about the the stated goal of the policy, but rather the control and power it gives the Feds over areas of your life they have no authority or power to do. And before you know it, you wake up one day and say "No xyz goes to far, you can't do that...". But it will be to late because you have already opened door and allowed the hand of the government into your home. And like a party guest that won't leave at the end of the night, it will be to late!
Michelle, if you think you are going to intrude into MY home and dictate how I will raise MY children, you are sorely mistaken! And any RINOs that support this garbage will be removed as well!
Thomas Jefferson
"We must make our choice between economy and liberty or confusion and servitude...If we run into such debts, we must be taxed in our meat and drink, in our necessities and comforts, in our labor and in our amusements...if we can prevent the government from wasting the labor of the people, under the pretense of caring for them, they will be happy."--Thomas Jefferson
"America does not go abroad in search of monsters to destroy. She is the well-wisher to freedom and independence of all. She is the champion and vindicator only of her own. "
--John Quincy Adams
US diplomat & politician (1767 - 1848)
“Since the general civilization of mankind, I believe there are more instances of the abridgment of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpation”
-James Madison at the Virginia Ratification Debates
"With respect to the words "general welfare," I have always regarded them as qualified by the detail of powers connected with them. To take them in a literal and unlimited sense would be a metamorphosis of the Constitution into a character which there is a host of proofs was not contemplated by its creators."
