It was so awesome to see all the great patriots in Norwich today and now that I have been home for awhile watching TV it is even more heartening to see the turnout around the country--that's right all you right wing extremists are really organized now! Oh, just so you know, Janet Napolitano (Homeland Security chief) said today she stands by the report saying that basically anyone who has a problem with a centralized, large federal government is a potential threat and could be radicalized. So they have drawn the line in the sand and big government, big brother has taken their side against hard working, God fearing, life respecting, second amendment, anti-illegal immigration Americans--that is average, everyday family people from all walks of life.
So let there be no doubt who they are targeting and what is at stake here.
THEY ARE NOW ON NOTICE THAT THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING AND WE WILL NOT BE SILENCED OR INTIMIDATED! Stand up and fight for our rights and what our Founding Fathers and generations of Americans who have volunteered and sacrificed in our military for the very things that big government can so easily and callously strip away from all of us. Let's make this a first step. Keep up the pressure and throw them ALL out of office next year!
Thomas Jefferson
"We must make our choice between economy and liberty or confusion and servitude...If we run into such debts, we must be taxed in our meat and drink, in our necessities and comforts, in our labor and in our amusements...if we can prevent the government from wasting the labor of the people, under the pretense of caring for them, they will be happy."--Thomas Jefferson
"America does not go abroad in search of monsters to destroy. She is the well-wisher to freedom and independence of all. She is the champion and vindicator only of her own. "
--John Quincy Adams
US diplomat & politician (1767 - 1848)
“Since the general civilization of mankind, I believe there are more instances of the abridgment of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpation”
-James Madison at the Virginia Ratification Debates
"With respect to the words "general welfare," I have always regarded them as qualified by the detail of powers connected with them. To take them in a literal and unlimited sense would be a metamorphosis of the Constitution into a character which there is a host of proofs was not contemplated by its creators."
